DESCENDANTS of GEORGE YOUNG and MARY TERRYBERRY |
On the left is James William Young (1852-1920) - the eldest brother of the Hannah, Charles, Alice and Clara from a previous page, and the son of Henry Young Jr. and Elizabeth (Young) Young. He was given life in prison at the Kingston Pennetentiary. The great great aunt of DKF, Adah (Dawson) Crowe, provided considerable anecdotal information on her uncle James William since he visited her frequently once he was released from prison. Thanks to the marriage of cousins, his picture also "fits" in the Abraham Young and Henry Young groups. On the right is John Young (1847-1876) who was hung for the murder - and the uncle of James William and the others. John was the youngest son of George Young and Mary (Terryberry) Young |
