| Long after the Revolutionary War was over, and Adam Young was dead, his lands were being put up for sale by the New York State authorities; in this case selling his Lot 30 in Youngsfield, Young's Patent to one Luther Gates on 4 March 1806. Two years later, Joseph House and his wife Elizabeth (Adam's daughter) commenced a law suit to recover the property. |
